Face it. We've all been there. The sore boobs, the bloated abdomen, the bitchy attitude, the NEED for all things sweet...
especially chocolate, the swollen fingers and toes, the cramping, the pimples, and the headaches.
About a week before menstruation, I'm a hot mess. You'd think, being 33 years old, I'd be past the pimple stage.
You'd be wrong. You'd also figure, wearing a DD cup size, that my boobs couldn't get any bigger.
Unfortunately, again you'd be wrong.Since most of you know me and have for quite some time, you might also assume that the idea of Boo as a bitch is comical.
Trust me...when I'm PMS'ing, I can get my 'bitch on' with the best of them. Just ask Doug.

While PMS'ing, I also bloat up like a damn whale, believe chocolate is 1000 times better than sex, and suddenly feel like humping a pillow. Go figure. Some days I feel like my eyes are going to pop out of my head from the pressure of my headache. That's always a fun feeling.
And if the kids misbehave? Woe is them. Misbehave at your own risk, chillun's.
And then....just when you think the worst is over, you start bleeding. The cramping begins. Your body starts smelling like a dirty foot. You then either A) stuff a rectangular piece of cotton up your vajayjay and itch like a mofo or B) walk around with a boxy couch between your legs.
Fun times. Fun times.
Nothing is better than feeling as if you've sprung a leak in your most intimate of body parts.
Especially when big clots are coming out too.
Too much information?
Perhaps.
But hey, this is REAL womanhood.
Our only pass is pregnancy. A free 9-months with no PMS, no bleeding, and no cramping.
"Umm....hey Doug? Wanna make me pregnant again?"
Okay, perhaps I sound a bit neurotic about PMS/menstruation. But give a girl a break! I started my period at age 9. Yes...NINE. Even worse? I was wearing a blue jean mini-skirt and standing on stage at my then church when my body decided to fast forward into puberty.
Embarrassing much?
Share my embarrassment, won't you? Help Boo feel not so alone.
- What do you gals do for PMS?
- What symptoms do you usually have?
- Can you wear tampons without the incessant itching and scratching?
- And lastly, how old were you when you started?
Let's hear some stories, ladies! :D
